Meet one of GIVE IT UP's Hudson Valley participants!

After being a sex advice writer for almost two decades, Emma Tourtelot is now a middle school librarian in the Hudson Valley, which turns out to be a lot more controversial than her first career. She is the author of the forthcoming novel No One You Know (She Writes Press, January 2026).

For the GIVE IT UP project, Emma is reluctantly willing to be persuaded to give up… her MARRIAGE DISH. We’ll publish Emma’s nonfiction narrative about this object in August — at which time we’ll invite you to participate in the effort to persuade her!
