From August 15th through September 5th, GIVE IT UP solicited persuasive responses to the object stories we’d featured in exhibits round Kingston, and on our website too.

At the GIVE IT UP wrap-up event and party on September 10th, Halimah Marcus revealed which of the responses to her object story she found most persuasive.

The most persuasive respondent to this story was: Susan Roe.

Here’s an excerpt from that response:

I love that you pretended your bikes were horses, and gave them names. I also love your description of how riding a bike in Philadelphia made you feel ‘powerful and strong.’ I feel like this bike should go to a young adult who wants that same feeling.
